Autonomous 3D Printing Drones

Constructing or repairing structures is not easy and can be expensive due to labor costs.  Using building methods inspired by bees, an international team of scientists has incorporated 3D printing capabilities into drones to potentially create large, intricate structures. In the future, 3D printing drones could build and repair hard-to-access locations while flying simultaneously, reducing costs and risks.
